Investment projects in agro-industrial complex worth 3.3 trl tenge planned in KazakhstanFrom January to April 2025, investments in Kazakhstan’s agricultural sector reached 211.9 billion tenge, marking a 117% increase year-over-year, the press service of the Ministry of Agriculture reported.The leaders in implementing investment plans were the North Kazakhstan Region and the city of Shymkent. Meanwhile, the Mangystau Region failed to implement any projects, low performance was recorded in Astana, as well as the Atyrau, Kyzylorda, West Kazakhstan, East Kazakhstan, Zhambyl, Ulytau, and Jetisu Regions.According to the press service, the Ministry of Agriculture has developed a 2025–2027 roadmap for agro-industrial complex (AIC) investments, outlining plans to implement 677 projects totaling 3.3 trillion tenge. In 2025 alone, 282 projects worth 611.2 billion tenge are slated for launch.The largest investments are directed toward agricultural processing, irrigation, and livestock farming. (ICE ALMATY)
