Bank CenterCredit net profit up 80% to 81.6 bln tenge in Q1 2025Bank CenterCredit, Kazakhstan’s third-largest bank by assets, boosted its net profit by 80% to 81.6 billion tenge year-on-year for January-April 2025, according to its unaudited consolidated financial statements.Profit before corporate income tax (CIT) rose by 70% to 91.3 billion tenge. Net interest income grew by 35.8%, reaching 80.85 billion tenge.Assets decreased by 2.3% to 6.9 trillion tenge, while liabilities fell by 3.3% to 6.2 trillion tenge. Equity capital, however, increased by 8.4% to 691.5 billion tenge. The authorized capital declined by 0.5% to 63.798 billion tenge.The credit portfolio expanded by 1.04% to 3.91 trillion tenge, whereas the deposit portfolio dropped by 4.2% to 5.39 trillion tenge.Established in 1988, Bank CenterCredit serves both corporate and individual clients. Its major shareholders are Chairman of the Board of Directors Bakhytbek Bayseitov (40.11%) and Board Member Vladislav Lee (9.23%).According to the National Bank of Kazakhstan, as of April 1, 2025, Bank CenterCredit ranks third among 21 Kazakh banks by asset size.
