Kazakhstan reports 3.9% growth in agricultural production in January-AprilKazakhstan’s agricultural output reached 1 trillion tenge in the first four months of 2025, marking a 3.9% increase compared to the same period last year, according to the Bureau of National Statistics under the Agency for Strategic Planning and Reforms.Livestock production accounted for 933.732 billion tenge, a 4.2% rise, while crop production remained steady at 54.101 billion tenge, unchanged from January-April 2024.As of May 1, 2025, the country’s cattle inventory grew by 24.4% year-over-year to 9.449 million head. Sheep numbers increased by 9.1% to 23.097 million, horses by 12.6% to 4.805 million, and poultry by 5.2% to 47.902 million.
