Kazakhstan sees 13.7% rise in fixed capital investments in January-AprilFixed capital investments in Kazakhstan reached 4.375 trillion tenge in January-April 2025, a 13.7% increase compared to the same period in 2024, according to the Bureau of National Statistics under the Agency for Strategic Planning and Reforms.The top sectors for investment during this period were industry (39.5%), with extractive sector at 18.7% and manufacturing at 12.7%, followed by real estate (20.9%), logistics (13.2%), and education (9.7%).Spending on construction and major repairs of buildings and structures rose by 27.6% year-over-year.The primary source of investment remained companies' own funds, totaling 2.898 trillion tenge. Large enterprises contributed 1.436 trillion tenge in investment.State budget funds accounted for 22.1% of total investments, while bank loans made up 3.5% and other borrowed funds 8.2%, including 2.9% from non-residents.
