Kazakhstan's freight turnover expands 14.3% in Jan-AprilKazakhstan's freight transportation sector demonstrated a 14.3% year-on-year increase in January-April 2025, with total freight turnover reaching 183.2 billion tonne-kilometers, according to the Bureau of National Statistics.In the reporting period, pipeline transportation showed a 16.2% growth, while rail freight turnover increased by 10.4%. Road freight transportation surged by 45.3% compared to January-April of the previous year.Total passenger turnover reached 27.8 billion passenger-kilometers, marking a 13.7% increase.
