At a meeting with Party General Secretary To Lam, EU Ambassador Julien Guerrier affirmed the EU’s commitment to deepening cooperation with Vietnam in key sectors including infrastructure, renewable energy, green transformation, and innovation. Guerrier emphasized the EU’s support for Vietnam’s 2045 development and 2050 net-zero goals, while both sides highlighted the importance of resilient supply chains and open trade.General Secretary Lam called for stronger political trust, enhanced dialogue, and an expanded roadmap for cooperation. He urged both sides to address EVFTA trade barriers, promote high-level exchanges, and boost collaboration in green, digital, and defense sectors.
