BÀ RỊA-VŨNG TÀU ATTRACTS HIGH-TECH, ECO-FRIENDLY PROJECTS

Bà Rịa-Vũng Tàu Province is prioritizing the attraction of high-tech and environmentally friendly industrial projects to enhance productivity, product quality, and sustainability. The province emphasizes clean technologies, low labor intensity, and high added value, leading to the development of advanced facilities like the Hòa Phát Container Manufacturing Plant and the Phú Mỹ Ultra-Clear Float Glass Plant. Both facilities use automation and robotics to ensure efficiency and high-quality outputs.The province has attracted major global investors such as Samsung, Marubeni, Austal, and Hyosung, with 326 out of 621 industrial projects being foreign-invested, totaling over US$16.3 billion. Infrastructure upgrades—including roads, expressways, and ports—support this industrial growth.Provincial leaders aim to draw more high-tech, value-added investments while encouraging current businesses to adopt clean technologies. They also offer support measures such as tax incentives and payment deferrals, alongside dedicated teams to assist investors and ensure smooth capital disbursement and operations.
