The number of European visitors to Jordan increased by 27% during the first third of this year, compared to the same period last year, according to statistics issued by the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities. The number of European visitors to Jordan reached 272,000, compared to 214,600 during the same period last year. For its part, the Jordan Tourism Board confirmed that the Kingdom's promotional strategies contributed to the increase in visitor numbers from Europe. JTB explained that it focused on attracting international tourists from the European continent by directing its campaigns to this market and highlighting the diversity of Jordanian tourism products.
