Oil refining in Kazakhstan up 10.8% in Jan-April 2025In January-April of this year, the major oil refineries in Kazakhstan processed 6.092 million tonnes of oil, a 10.8% increase year-over-year, the press service of the Energy Ministry reported."The increase in refining volumes has been a key factor in the growth of production for major petroleum products, which are in demand both domestically and internationally," the ministry stated.Specifically, the Ministry of Energy reported a 25.4% rise in automobile gasoline production to 2.082 million tonnes; an 18.9% increase in diesel fuel output to 1.921 million tonnes; and a 5.3% growth in aviation kerosene production to 0.255 million tonnes.
