The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) will host a special session focused on Jordan in London on May 13, titled "Jordan: A Gateway to $50 Trillion in Global Trade." The event will take place on the sidelines of the EBRD’s 2024 Annual Meeting, with the participation of Jordan’s Ministers of Investment and Planning. The session will showcase Jordan’s ongoing efforts to implement its Economic Modernization Vision, which targets attracting $4 billion in annual investments. According to EBRD data, Jordan presents compelling opportunities across infrastructure, services, and high-value industries—driven by its young, skilled workforce, advanced technological infrastructure, and abundant raw materials. The session is expected to offer valuable insights and foster deeper engagement with potential investors. It will also highlight Jordan’s strategic access to a global market of 1.4 billion consumers and participation in international trade valued at $50 trillion, supported by its extensive network of free trade agreements.
