Kazakhstan maintains steady flour export levels in 2024-2025Kazakhstan is projected to export 1.85 million tonnes of flour during the 2024-2025 agricultural year (July-June), matching last year's shipment volume of 1.88 million tonnes, according to the Grain Union of Kazakhstan.Yevgeny Karabanov, head of the union's analytics committee, reported that flour exports reached 1.21 million tons in the first seven months of the current season (September-March), slightly below the 1.22 million tons shipped during the same period last year."March 2025 exports declined 4% from February levels, which is attributed to reduced buyer activity during Ramadan and spring holidays," he said.Kazakhstan primarily exports flour to Central Asian nations, Afghanistan, and China.
