Investment realization in Q1 2025 reached IDR 465.2 trillion, achieving 24.4% of Indonesia’s annual target of IDR 1,905.6 trillion, according to Investment Minister Rosan Roeslani. He noted this performance reflects strong investor confidence and political-economic stability. The investment also led to job creation, with 594,104 workers absorbed—an 8.5% year-on-year increase. Compared to Q1 2024, investment rose 15.9%, and 2.7% compared to Q4 2024. Foreign and domestic investments were nearly balanced, with Domestic Direct Investment (PMDN) slightly leading at IDR 234.8 trillion (50.5%), and Foreign Direct Investment (PMA) at IDR 230.4 trillion (49.5%). Investment outside Java slightly surpassed that within Java, signaling improved regional distribution.
