Jordan’s Alhusaini Group partners with Kazakh agro holding Aitas to build $85mln poultry facilityJordan’s Alhusaini Group plans to build a parent stock poultry breeding facility in Kazakhstan with an annual capacity of up to 100 million hatching eggs. The total investment in the project is estimated at $85 million, according to a press release from the Ministry of Agriculture of Kazakhstan.The Kazakh partner for the project will be Aitas KZ, a vertically integrated holding company specializing in poultry meat production.The Ministry of Agriculture clarified that the facility will be located in either the Akmola or Almaty region.The primary market for the facility’s products will be Kazakhstan, with 30% of output planned for export.The project is expected to be implemented in phases between 2025 and 2029.Aitas KZ is an agro-industrial holding engaged in poultry breeding, processing, and sales. It comprises 15 enterprises. The company produces goods under Kus&Vkus and AMP brands. The founder of the agro-holding is Serik Tolukpayev. (ICE ALMATY)
