In March, the President Serdar Berdimuhamedov attended the opening ceremony of a large ceramics plant, in the Bakharden district of the Ahal province. The new production complex has become an important part of the region's industrial infrastructure.The new enterprise "Baherden" was built to order of the Ministry of Industry and Construction of Turkmenistan by the IE "Eziz doganlar".The plant, designed to produce 3.3 million square meters of ceramic tiles and 120 thousand units of sanitary ware per year, is equipped with advanced equipment from leading countries of the world. The enterprise has created modern conditions for the work of about 460 employees.Representative of the Italian company "SACMI Imola Societa Cooperativa" Michele Pulpito called the new plant "Bäherden" the first of its kind in Turkmenistan and one of the largest and most modern in the world among similar production facilities.The companies "SACMI Imola Societa Cooperativa" and "Associazione Costruttori Italiani Macchine Attrezzature per Ceramica" presented the plant with certificates confirming compliance with high international standards of quality, environmental friendliness and safety.
