Key export figures include: Uzbekistan with 2.6 million tonnes (up 23.5% from 2 million), Tajikistan with 1.027 million tonnes (up 33.7% from 681,000), Kyrgyzstan with 165,000 tonnes (up 49.7% from 83,000), Afghanistan with 267,000 tonnes (up 26% from 198,000).Exports to more distant markets saw dramatic increases: Iran bought 825,000 tonnes (1,500% more than last year’s 54,000), while Azerbaijan imported 497,000 tons—a 99-fold jump from just 5,000."Kazakhstan continues strengthening its position in regional food markets by ensuring stable supplies of high-quality grain," the ministry stated.In 2024, Kazakhstan harvested more than 26 million tonnes of grain.
