Kazakhstan's agricultural output up 3.7% in Q1 2025Kazakhstan's agricultural production reached 723.6 billion tenge in the first quarter of 2025, showing a 3.7% year-on-year increase, according to the Bureau of National Statistics.Livestock production accounted for 670.2 billion tenge (up 4%), while crop production remained stable at 41.3 billion tenge compared to Q1 2024.As of April 1, 2025, cattle inventories grew 22.8% year-on-year to 8.9 million head. Sheep numbers increased 8.8% to 20.7 million, horses rose 11.6% to 4.4 million, and poultry stocks grew 5.9% to 48.6 million.  Goat herds declined by 1.6% to 2.0 million, while pig inventories saw a marginal 0.5% decrease to 526,900 head.
