BOOM FOR CHINESE CARS CONTINUES
The latest statistics compiled by the Polish Automotive Industry Association (PZPM) indicate that in Q1, 2025 a total of 7,075 cars of Chinese manufacturers were registered in Poland, up from 887 registered in the corresponding period of 2024. The share of Chinese cars in new passenger car registrations in Poland increased to 5 percent at present, from 4.7 percent in January 2025 and 0.6 percent a year ago. The 2024 proved a turning point for Chinese car manufacturers as sales of such cars surged by almost 70 times, from barely 168 in 2023 to a whopping 10,700, and there is every indication that the share of these cars in the Polish market will continue to rise.
