The Department of Statistics has released its monthly report on the General Consumer Price Index (CPI) for March 2025. The index recorded a 1.64% increase compared to March 2024, and a slight month-on-month rise of 0.06% compared to February 2025. Cumulatively, the CPI for the first quarter of 2025 rose by 2.02% compared to the same period in 2024. In March 2025, the CPI reached 112.43, up from 110.61 in March 2024 and 112.36 in February 2025. On a cumulative basis, the index for the first three months of 2025 stood at 112.34, compared to 110.12 during the same period last year. (ICE AMMAN)
