NEW REGULATION REQUIRES INDUSTRY PLAYERS TO SUBMIT QUARTERLY REPORTS VIA SIINAS
The Indonesian Ministry of Industry has issued a new regulation, Regulation of the Minister of Industry (Permenperin) No. 13/2025, requiring all industry players and industrial estate managers to submit data quarterlythrough the National Industrial Information System (SIINas). This regulation replaces the previous Permenperin No. 2/2019 and Ministerial Circular No. 1/2025, which mandated biannual reporting. The goal is to enhance the timeliness and accuracy of industrial data to support more effective, targeted, and data-driven policymaking, and to align with the Central Statistics Agency’s (BPS) need for quarterly GDP data. Adie Rochmanto Pandiangan, Expert Staff to the Minister for Strengthening Domestic Industrial Capabilities, emphasized that the regulation introduces updates to the types of data reported, including workforce practices and production-distribution planning. Reporting deadlines are now set for April 10, July 10, October 10, and January 10 each year, with a special extension for the first quarter of 2025 until April 15. The Ministry expects these new rules to ensure more accurate and actionable data to support the national industrial strategy.Source: https://ekonomi.bisnis.com/read/20250412/257/1868681/aturan-baru-pelaku-industri-wajib-lapor-data-tiap-kuartal-lewat-siinas (ICE GIACARTA)
