U.S. Department of Agriculture maintains Kazakhstan wheat export forecastThe U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) has kept its forecast for Kazakhstan’s wheat exports unchanged at 10 million metric tonnes for the current agricultural year (July 2024 – June 2025), according to its latest April report.The March projection had also estimated Kazakh wheat exports at 10 million tonnes. Meanwhile, the import forecast remains steady at 0.5 million tonnes.Kazakhstan’s wheat production for the current season is expected to stay at 18.58 million tonnes, unchanged from the March estimate.The USDA also maintained its estimate for the carryover grain stocks at 3.45 million tonnes, as in the March forecast.
