China Energy International Group to build water pipeline from Satpayev Canal to AstanaThe official signing ceremony of the EPC contract for the construction of a water pipeline from the Satpayev Canal to Astana was held in the capital of Kazakhstan, the press service of the republic's government reported.According to the press service, the contract also provides for the construction of Pump and Filter Station No. 4 - a key infrastructure project in the capital's water supply system.The length of the water pipeline is 203.06 km, and the construction of two lines is planned. "The implementation of the project will modernise the city's municipal infrastructure, increase its resilience to consumption growth and create conditions for further socio-economic development," the report says.Construction of the project is expected to begin in April 2025.China Energy International Group and its subsidiary China Gezhouba Group Company Ltd. have many years of experience in implementing engineering and infrastructure projects in various regions of the world.
