The success was achieved thanks to the open markets and the Generalized Scheme of Preferences Plus (GSP+), which enables goods from Kyrgyzstan to enter markets of 27 EU member states," he said. The geographic position and the growing transit potential of Kyrgyzstan open up wide vistas for trade, Japarov said."We are offering European partners to join large-scale hydropower projects underway in Kyrgyzstan. The flagship project of the Kambarata HPP 1 occupies a special place in our plans," he said.In the context of cooperation in the development of infrastructure and modern transport corridors, Japarov hailed the EU's initiative of investment in sustainable transport connectivity in Central Asia totaling 10 billion euros. The Generalized Scheme of Preferences Plus (GSP+) is an EU system providing unilateral trade concessions by cancelling import duties on a number of goods from developing and least developed countries.
