KazMunayGas and Uzbekneftegaz sign cooperation agreement on exploration and petrochemicalsKazMunayGas (KMG) and Uzbekneftegaz have signed a cooperation agreement to advance joint projects in geological exploration and petrochemicals in Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan, KMG’s press service reported.“Uzbekneftegaz is one of our key partners. This agreement reaffirms KMG’s commitment to expanding cooperation in resource development and the petrochemical industry. We also see opportunities in digital technologies, industrial safety, and environmental protection,” KMG Chairman Askhat Khasenov said.The agreement was signed in Almaty during Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev’s visit and his meeting with Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.
