Kazakhstan's industrial production grew 5.9% in Jan-FebThe industrial production in January-February 2025 increased by 5.9% year over year to reach 9.112 trillion tenge in value, the Bureau of National Statistics of the Agency for Strategic Planning and Reforms said.In the reporting period, the extractive sector expanded by 4.3% to 4.26 trillion tenge in value, accounting for 47.1% of the total industrial production by the republic; the manufacturing industry increased by 8.9% to 4.061 trillion tenge (44.6%).In January-February of this year, the supply of electricity, gas, steam, hot water and air conditioning decreased by 3.1% to 686.7 trillion tenge, and the water supply and waste management sector declined by 6.8% to 73.9 billion tenge.
