SINGAPORE LAUNCHES SS708 STANDARD FOR AEROSPACE 3D PRINTING
Singapore has launched its first national standard for additive manufacturing in aerospace. The new Singapore Standard (SS 708), titled “Additive Manufacturing for Aerospace – Filament Layer Manufacturing Process Specifications”, was introduced by the Singapore Manufacturing Federation – Standards Development Organisation (SMF-SDO) and Enterprise Singapore (EnterpriseSG) at the inter airport Southeast Asia 2025 event. The standard provides a comprehensive framework for Filament Layer Manufacturing (FLM), a polymer-based 3D printing process used to produce aerospace-grade components such as lightweight structural parts and specialised maintenance tools. https://sbr.com.sg/information-technology/news/singapore-launches-ss-708-standard-aerospace-3d-printing (ICE SINGAPORE)
