Dubai has maintained its position as the world's top destination for Greenfield Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) projects for the fourth consecutive year, according to fDi Markets (Financial Times Ltd.). In 2024, Dubai attracted 1,117 Greenfield FDI projects worth over Dh52 billion, marking a 33% increase from 2023. Additionally, 1,826 FDI projects were announced, reflecting an 11% growth. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum credited this success to the visionary leadership of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and the Dubai Economic Agenda D33, which focuses on economic growth and innovation.
