MALMÖ RECEIVES SEK 2.6 BILLION LOAN FOR CLIMATE-SMART HOUSING

Malmö receives SEK 2.6 billion loan for climate-smart housingThe city of Malmö is borrowing SEK 2.6 billion from the European Investment Bank, EIB, to build 1,547 new energy-efficient apartments, Europaportalen reports. The municipal housing company MKB will build 13 apartment blocks that will be completed by 2029. The houses will be more energy-efficient than Swedish regulations require. The loan is the seventh that the EIB has provided to Malmö.  (ICE STOCCOLMA)
