Avery Dennison Expands Global Reach with New Cutting-Edge Plant in Querétaro, MéxicoAvery Dennison, a leader in smart label manufacturing, has inaugurated its new plant in Querétaro, Mexico, with an investment of over 3.5 billion pesos, creating 938 jobs. From this site, located in the Finsa III Industrial Park in the northern part of Querétaro municipality, the company will produce inlays and labels using RFID technology (Radio Frequency Identification). This is a unique identification system embedded in each product, allowing it to be uniquely tracked across the supply chain through an integrated circuit. Roger Machado, Vice President of Operations and Supply Chain at Avery Dennison, explained that this is the group’s largest plant, covering an area equivalent to five football fields. The facilities are located on a 50,000-square-meter plot, with 25,000 square meters of constructed space, featuring three planned shifts. (ICE CITTÀ DEL MESSICO)
