AUTUMN MARKED BY RISING PRICES
A survey conducted by UCE Research and WSB Merito Universities shows that following an increase of 4.3 % in August 2024, last month prices went up by 4.9 % y/y.Inflation drivers include not only the reinstatement of 5% VAT on foodstuffs, but also such aspects as the end of the season for cheaper fruit and vegetables or higher heating costs.
