The World Bank recently announced the restructuring and extension of its closing date for the “Support for Employment and Skills in the Private Sector” project, which it is financing in Jordan, for an additional period of 18 months, so that it will be completed at the end of 2025. The development goal of the project, which is being implemented by the Ministry of Labour, is to increase employment rates in the private sector following the Covid pandemic, with a focus on employing youth and women.
