In January-March 2024, Ukraine's trade turnover with Italy increased in both imports and exports. Exports of Ukrainian goods to Italy rose by 27.2% compared to the same period of the previous year, reaching USD 483.3 million, while imports from Italy grew by 17.0%, amounting to USD 526.6 million. Italy ranks seventh as a customer of Ukraine (with a share of 4.8% of total exports from Ukraine), following Poland, Spain, China, Turkey, Romania, and Germany, and eighth as a supplier (with a share of 3.3% of Ukrainian imports), following China, Poland, Germany, Turkey, the United States, Greece, and the Czech Republic.
