Elemental, a company operating in the recycling industry and trading in recyclable materials, has completed the first stage of recruitment for its new battery recycling facility in Zawiercie. So far, the company has recruited 120 employees and is poised to recruit 30 staff members more until the end of the year. The facility, which is to start operating this summer, is expected to reach a capacity utilisation rate of 100 percent in three to four quarters’ time, when the plant will recycle up to 12,000 tonnes of batteries per year, which corresponds to battery packs for ca. 28,000 electric cars.
