According to the latest “European attractiveness survey” prepared by EY, Poland is one of the most favoured locations in Europe by foreign investors. As noted by Paweł Tynel, Managing Partner and Chief Operating Officer at EY Polska, factors contributing to the growing attractiveness of Poland and Europe as a whole include the trend towards nearshoring, i.e. bringing operations closer to the place where a given product or service is sold. “Companies are changing their approach and moving away from the previous paradigm of the cheapest location somewhere far away,” he adds.
