On Tuesday, the government adopted a resolution on the Long-Term State Financial Plan 2024-2027. According to it, expenditure related to the energy price cap shield measures will amount to 0.8 percent of GDP in 2024. In 2023, this expenditure totalled 1.5 percent of GDP. The Plan also added that the revenue associated with the gas contribution in 2024 is expected to come to 0.4 per cent. In 2023, gas and electricity write-off revenues amounted to 0.9 percent of GDP.
