Gulf Air, the national carrier of the Kingdom of Bahrain, has announced the resumption of its flights between Bahrain and Iraq.Chairman of Gulf Air Group, Mr. Zayed bin Rashid Al Zayani, welcomed the resumption of direct Gulf Air flights between Bahrain and Iraq, stating that it is an important step in the company's efforts to continue developing its network.The first Gulf Air flights to Iraq took place in 1974 but were suspended during the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020. The airline previously operated flights to Baghdad, Najaf, and Erbil.Details on flight schedules and frequencies will be announced soon once all official procedures are finalized. (ICE AMMAN)
