INDONESIA CUTS NOVEMBER CPO REFERENCE PRICE TO USD 978.90

Indonesia has lowered its November 2026 crude palm oil (CPO) reference price to US$978.90 per metric ton, down 6.07 percent from US$1,042.15 per metric ton in October. According to Tommy Andana, Director General of Foreign Trade at the Ministry of Trade, the decline has resulted in a lower export levy. For November, the government will impose a CPO export duty of US$124 per metric ton and an export levy equivalent to 12.5 percent of the reference price, or US$122.36 per metric ton. The reference price was calculated using average CPO prices recorded between September 20 and October 19, 2026. Because the price gap among the three benchmark markets exceeded US$40 per metric ton, the government applied a formula that uses the median and closest benchmark prices, namely the Indonesian CPO Exchange and the Malaysian CPO Exchange. The government also set an export duty of US$31 per metric ton for branded Refined, Bleached and Deodorized (RBD) palm olein cooking oil packaged in containers of up to 25 kilograms.Source: https://rri.co.id/en/business/2862246/indonesia-cuts-november-cpo-reference-price-to-usd-97890 (ICE GIACARTA)
