Electric buses have been developed in partnership with BYD and will be equipped with Blade batteries. Production is scheduled to begin in March 2027," Smagulov told a government meeting on Tuesday.He said the buses were developed with Chinese technology partners using components from leading global manufacturers."Kazakh engineers were also involved in the design of these buses. They will be produced at our plant in Kazakhstan. This is a unique brand, and all intellectual property rights will belong to our company," Smagulov said.Astana Motors is a Kazakhstan-based automotive manufacturer and part of the Astana Group.
