Kazakhstan car production up 35% in H1, 11% growth expected for 2026Automobile production in Kazakhstan rose 35% in the first half of 2026 to 94,400 vehicles, Industry and Construction Minister Yersaiyn Nagaspayev said."In the first six months of this year, we produced 94,400 vehicles, 35% more than in the same period last year," Nagaspayev told a government meeting on Tuesday.The ministry's target for the full year is to increase output by 11% to 190,000 vehicles, he said."Last year, we produced more than 171,000 vehicles, with output up 18%. That positive trend has continued this year," the minister said.Kazakhstan currently has 11 plants producing passenger cars, buses, trucks and specialized equipment, employing more than 10,000 people.
