Marking its largest acquisition to date and its first entry into Latin America, Abu Dhabi-based AD Ports Group has agreed to acquire Brazilian agri-bulk terminal operator Corredor Logística e Infraestrutura (CLI) from Macquarie Asset Management and IG4 Capital for AED 3.1 billion ($835 million). Expected to close in the second half of 2026, the strategic deal gives AD Ports Group control over two major export terminals—CLI Sul at the Port of Santos and CLI Norte at the Port of Itaqui—which collectively handled 17 million tonnes of cargo in 2025. This milestone transaction significantly expands the company's international footprint, deepens its high-priority agrifood logistics portfolio, and supports its ambition to establish a major East-West trade route linking South America with markets across Africa and Asia.
