OSE: TENDER ANNOUNCED FOR 25 MILLION EUROS PROJECT TO UPGRADE SAFETY at 100 level crossings
The Hellenic Railways Organisation (OSE) has published an open electronic tender for the supply, installation and commissioning of 100 new SIL 4 Automatic Level Crossing Systems on critical sections of the Greek rail network. The project includes the dismantling of existing legacy systems, the supply and installation of new SIL 4 Automatic Level Crossing Systems, and the provision of full maintenance and troubleshooting services until the end of the contract. At the same time, the integration, adaptation, and interconnection of the new systems with the ETCS system are planned, along with the necessary testing, certification, and commissioning procedures. The works concern the Thessaloniki–Idomeni, Thessaloniki–Alexandroupoli, Thessaloniki–Florina, Strymonas–Promachonas, Piraeus–Platy and Alexandroupoli–Ormenio lines. The estimated value of the contract is 25 million euros, excluding VAT, and its total duration will be 30 months from the signing of the contract. This includes the supply and installation phase, as well as a period of preventive and corrective maintenance for the new systems. (ICE ATENE)
