West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) secured Rp18.06 trillion in investments during the first quarter of 2026, achieving 26.3% of its central government-mandated annual target of Rp68.64 trillion. According to DPMPTSP NTB chief Irnadi Kusuma, the energy and mineral resources sector led the influx, accounting for Rp12.92 trillion (71.5%), followed by the industrial sector at Rp1.67 trillion, and tourism/creative economy at Rp202 billion. Despite global geopolitical fluctuations slowing mining interest, local officials remain highly optimistic.
