JORDAN’S LOCAL REVENUES RISE 1.6% IN Q1 2026-FINANCE MINISTRY
Jordan’s local revenues increased by JD34.1 million, or 1.6 percent, by the end of March 2026, reaching JD2.194 billion compared with JD2.160 billion during the same period last year, despite regional challenges. According to the Ministry of Finance, the rise was mainly driven by a rise in non-tax revenues, which grew by JD53.5 million during the first quarter of 2026 to JD631.8 million, compared with JD578.4 million in the same period of 2025.
