Chief Investment Officer (CIO) of the Daya Anagata Nusantara Investment Management Agency (BPI Danantara), Pandu Patria Sjahrir,  announced that the agency will prioritize investment in nine sectors over the next 12 months, focusing on areas with strong economic impact aligned with Danantara’s vision. These sectors include industrial downstream (minerals, oil and gas, plantations), upstream oil and gas, manufacturing (especially EVs and renewables), food security, digital infrastructure, water and waste management, energy security, strategic real estate, and emerging industries like AI and semiconductor manufacturing. The agency is set to start the financing and investment processes soon. To guide its investments, Danantara will apply seven key indicators: leveraging Indonesia’s natural resource advantages, ensuring multiple economic impacts, creating jobs, enhancing national competitiveness, supporting national security, identifying disruptive opportunities, and assessing potential returns.
