Palestine's trade deficit declined to USD 484.2 million in July 2024 from USD 558.5 million inthe corresponding month of the previous year, as imports fell more than exports. Importsdropped by 11% from a year earlier to USD 621.2 million, mainly due to a 14% plunge inpurchases from Israel which represent 56% of total imports. Moreover, imports from othercountries declined by 7%. Meanwhile, exports fell by 3% to USD 137 million, as sales to Israeldropped by 4%, representing 91% of total exports and shipments to other countries fell by 6%. (ICE AMMAN)
