Kazakhstan launches Eurasian Civil Aviation Conference initiativeKazakhstan proposed establishing the Eurasian Civil Aviation Conference (EACAC) at a meeting of aviation authority leaders in Toulouse, France.The initiative aims to enhance cooperation among Eurasian countries, including Central Asia and the Caucasus, in aviation safety and security."During the meeting, the Kazakh delegation introduced the proposal for a regional civil aviation body called the Eurasian Civil Aviation Conference (EACAC). Membership is available to Eurasian states, encompassing Central Asia, the Caucasus, and neighboring areas," according to the press service of the Civil Aviation Authority.The EACAC will facilitate the exchange of expertise and best flight safety practices among member states.Additionally, a memorandum of cooperation was signed between Kazakhstan's Civil Aviation Academy and France's National School of Civil Aviation (ENAC), aiming to improve training standards and adopt modern educational practices.The meeting of the Directors General of Civil Aviation from the European and North Atlantic Bureau of ICAO (EURNAT-DGCA) took place in Toulouse. Participants included Saltanat Tompiyeva from the Kazakh Civil Aviation Authority, Catalin Radu from the Aviation Administration of Kazakhstan JSC, and Beken Seydakhmetov, the rector of the Academy of Civil Aviation.
