The Secretary-General of the Ministry of Education for Vocational Education, Mohammed Ghaith, announced on Sunday that around 100,000 jobs are expected to be created through vocational and technical education programs by 2032. Ghaith explained that by 2032, student enrollment in the vocational and technical education track should reach 50%, alongside expanding the number and diversity of specializations to align with the labor market’s demand for qualified skills and competencies. He noted that the Ministry has already taken a series of measures to develop this vital sector and will continue implementing them within a clear and well-defined plan.
